December 16, 2019 - The MLB Little League Classic has been recognized as “Original Sports Event of the Decade” by Sports Business Journal. The announcement was made as part of the Journal’s Decade Awards highlighting transformative forces within the sports industry over the past 10 years.

Since its inaugural game in 2017, the MLB Little League Classic has become a fixture in MLB’s calendar. For one night each August, MLB takes over historic Bowman Field for a regulation game where Little League players are the guests of honor. The game is broadcast nationally on ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball,” but it’s an exclusive chance for 2,596 Little League players and their families to watch the game in-person, the first professional baseball game for some.

At a time when authenticity seems to be valued above all else, the MLB Little League Classic is all about the love of the game and sharing that passion from one generation to the next. The Classic’s transformative effects have already started to have an impact, inspiring MLB to take the sport to other unexpected and storied places, like the MLB at Field of Dreams Game.

As a production partner for MLB, Annemarie Roe and BaAM, in our Executive Producer role, are honored to bring these incredible ideas to life. Just like the fans, we can’t wait to see what’s next!
