Amid a global pandemic, BaAM led construction management and project management for the massive re-imagining of Buffalo’s Sahlen Field. This project began in 2020 when Canadian regulations prevented the Blue Jays from playing their season in Toronto.

  • Renovations, overlay, and delivery of temporary infrastructure to convert the facility into a regulation MLB ballpark
  • A full rebranding of the ballpark, recreating the feeling of a home stadium
  • Upgrades to the playing surface, team dugouts, stadium lighting, weight rooms, batting cages, training facilities, and more
  • Significant permanent design and construction solutions for the start of the 2021 MLB season

The work completed at Sahlen Field in 2021 will remain as a legacy for the Triple-A affiliate in support of player development

The work they did actually created that feeling of this is the Blue Jays’ home, which I think is really important to the psyche of the team and the ability of the team to perform, and an unbelievable accomplishment given the tight timeframe.
