UBS Arena The Park outdoor fan zone with lit entry pavilion, branded signage, and evening crowd under decorative lights

The Park at UBS Arena was a winter wonderland that gave New York Islanders fans a chance to embrace the game in ways they never have before — on an outdoor pond hockey rink!

Taking hockey back to its roots, BaAM was part of the team assembled to define, create, and lead build-out of temporary event infrastructure for The Park, which was

  • complete with two outdoor ice-skating rinks, a beer garden, heated igloos, carnival games — and more!
  • host to additional programming, such as hockey tournaments, Learn to Skate clinics, and the MSG Networks' Islanders Pregame Show
  • operational December - March, coinciding with the Islanders' appearance at the NHL Stadium Series game at Met Life Stadium

We are excited to give all Islanders fans the opportunity to bring our deep-rooted pregame traditions to UBS Arena.

Nick Pizzutello, Islanders Executive Vice President
